Following are the instructions to activate your AT&T BIM account:
- Access the AT&T Business Messaging Services website.
- Click on "Account Center" tab at the top of the page.
- Click in the box labeled "If you do not have an email address, check here", and click "Submit".
- Enter the Account (DSLAAA), the Network Access ID (ATTnnnnn), and Password, and click "Submit".
- Your password is in an "expired" status initially, and you will be forced to change it.
Note: Click on the link for "Password Guidelines" for an explanation of a valid password.
- If you wish to use the system assigned userid as your e-mail address you can proceed to Configure your Email Client. To customize your e-mail address For example: "jsmith@attglobal.net", complete steps 7 through 9.
- Click on "Manage E-mail".
- Click on "Change E-mail".
- Change the e-mail ID portion your e-mail address to what you would like as an alias.
Note: This must be unique. If you request an alias that is already being used, it will incremented numerically. For example: jsmith1@attglobal.net.
