The status of the LEDs on your modem/router is important for verifying that the
CPE is functioning properly. The DSL-side lights will show that it is training
up to the DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer -- a network device
located at a telephone company central office) and passing traffic. The LAN-side
lights will show whether or not it is working on your network. The following chart provides examples.

If your line is out of service, please Contact Us
to open a trouble ticket. AT&T DSL Customer Care will diagnose the problem
and determine a resolution.
If AT&T DSL Customer Care diagnoses a problem in your router/bridge, and you have
- purchased the Managed Option:
AT&T owns the router and the router software configuration (for example, up to the
LAN port on the CPE), and is responsible for fixing CPE router hardware and
configuration problems.
- not purchased the Managed Option or if your router/bridge is out of warranty:
You may need to contact the equipment vendor or your System Administrator.
