Connectivity and routing issues are not always due to line or network
problems, and can often be resolved by doing the following:
- Verify that you have the correct Power, Cabling, PC Setup.
- Power cycle the CPE (modem/router). The cycling resets the CPE memory and
forces it to retrain with the network equipment with which it connects.
- Power cycle the PC. The power cycle clears the PC memory and forces it to
reload its IP stack and applications.
- If you are still Unable to Send/Receive Traffic, check the status of the
LEDs on your modem/router and take the recommended action.
