Connectivity and routing issues are not always due to line or network problems, and can often be resolved by doing the following:

  1. Verify that you have the correct Power, Cabling, PC Setup.
  2. Power cycle the CPE (modem/router). The cycling resets the CPE memory and forces it to retrain with the network equipment with which it connects.
  3. Power cycle the PC. The power cycle clears the PC memory and forces it to reload its IP stack and applications.
  4. If you are still Unable to Send/Receive Traffic, check the status of the LEDs on your modem/router and take the recommended action.
