The billing process begins after AT&T has completed the provisioning process and the service has been turned up. For ADSL line-shared customers, billing begins once we see traffic on the line, or after seven days of shipping the kit, whichever is earlier.

DSL billing begins on the 25th of each month. You can expect to receive your bill within 7-10 days of that date.

You can call DSL Customer Care at 1-877-937-5288 (1-877-XDSLATT) to report your service outage and request a credit on your bill

You can disconnect your DSL service by calling AT&T DSL Customer Care at 1-877-937-5288 (1-877-XDSLATT), and verbally requesting to disconnect your service. You can also ask for the Clarify case number which is associated with your disconnect request.

If I disconnect my service before the contract expires, will I incur any charges?

Early termination charges will be applied if a circuit has not been installed for at least 12 months. For circuits installed less than 12 months, ADSL and Single IP IDSL Service customers will be charged either $200 or the remaining monthly service charges, whichever is less; SDSL and Multiple IP IDSL customers will be charged either $500 or the remaining monthly service charges, whichever is less. If the circuit has been installed for 12 months or longer, then no early termination charges will be applied.

If I am a managed service customer and I disconnect my DSL service, do I need to return the router?

Yes, if you are a managed service customer, and you disconnect your DSL service, you need to return your router to the CPE Return address below. If you do not return the router, you will be charged either $225 for the ADSL bridge, or $450 for the SDSL or IDSL router

If my employer was paying for my DSL service, and I leave the company, can I keep the DSL service and just have the billing transferred to my address?

No, you need to disconnect the existing service, and place a new order for DSL service. You will need to agree to the terms and conditions for DSL service.

If I move, will I be charged early termination fees?
|

No, you will not be charged early termination fees, but will be charged a "move" fee if the circuit has been installed for less than 12 months. For SDSL and Multiple IP IDSL Service that has been installed for less than 12 months, you will be charged $300. For ADSL and Single IP IDSL Service that has been installed for less than 12 months, you will be charged $150. If the circuit has been installed for more than 12 months, a move charge will not be applied.
If you are moving and you have the BYO CPE option, the $100 BYO CPE charge will be waived; however, the above charges will apply.
Note: If you will be moving,you need to call Customer Care (1-877-937-5288) to disconnect the original service. You need to tell Customer Care that the order is a "move" order and provide the order number for the new location.

If I'm a managed customer and I move, and I do not place a new order with AT&T, do I need to return the router?

Yes, if you are a managed customer, and you move, you need to return the bridge/router to the AT&T CPE Return address. If you do not return the router, you will be charged either $225 for the ADSL bridge or $450 for the IDSL or SDSL router.
